The news

The last Sunday, 13th of February it took place in Madrid the 25 edition of the Goya. They are the awards that the Spanish academy of the cinema gives every year, to the best films, actors, actresses and so on. This year the show became in the Royal theatre of Madrid, where 25 years ago, all started. The most nominated movies of this edition were a Catalan production based in a book of Emili Teixidor, called ‘Pa Negre’. nd the film of the director of the academy, Àlex de la Iglesia, called ‘Balada Triste the Trompeta’ although eventually this film didn’t win any of the big princes of the night. These awards went to ‘Pa Negre’ for the best film and to Javier Bardem and Nora Navas for the best performers. The show was conducted by the multifaceted Andreu Buenafuente.
