"A changable day"

This morning I woke up so distressed for all the things and work taht I had to do. Firstly, I went to my granmother's house to look after her because she was alone. She looked really disthraugh and I asked her about it and she expressed her feelings. She was waiting for a remarkable letter and it hadn't arrived yet.
However, she seemed very grateful for my company and suddenly she caught her purse and took a 20€ note and she said that there were for me. I became overjoyed. This fact had changed my day. Then I gave her a huge kiss and I phoned my girlfrined to go out. I finished the day really enthusiastic and pleased.

My favourtie restaurant

My favourtie restaurant is called "La Cabana". It is located in the road that brings you to Berga. It is an ancient restaurant, but it has been reformed and now it is great, like the food that it is served.

The building left me speechless the first time I saw it because is a beautiful house in the top of a hill, where you can see fantastic views of Berga.

But what really calls my attention is the food that is served. All the dishes mix the tradicionaland our own flavours of our region with the most luxurious and modern flavours taht have been discovered.

Not only you can eat here, but also you can have there a great evening. There you can organize weddings, christenings and many other kind of parties and celebrations. Inside the digninroom you can feel like if you were at home, and you will also be great served and treated by the waiters.

From my point of view it is the best place in our region for having a great meal with the family and friends.

I strongly recommend visiting and trying the marvellous food and I am sure that you will not be disappointed about the service of "La Cabana".

Blind Dates

Nowadays many people in the world meet other people by blind dates. It is a new social system that every day is increasing its number of participants.

On the one hand there are many positives aspects. It is a quick method to fins friends or to fall in love. You can also choose the person that you like the most and that you would like to meet.

On the other hand there are many negative things about blind dates, for instance that you don’t know who are you going to find and how this person is really. Most times, people are disappointed and they don’t recommend it at all.

In conclusion people are intelligent and social enough to meet friends or lovers without using blind dates. From my point of view I would not participate in one blind date.

The news

The last Sunday, 13th of February it took place in Madrid the 25 edition of the Goya. They are the awards that the Spanish academy of the cinema gives every year, to the best films, actors, actresses and so on. This year the show became in the Royal theatre of Madrid, where 25 years ago, all started. The most nominated movies of this edition were a Catalan production based in a book of Emili Teixidor, called ‘Pa Negre’. nd the film of the director of the academy, Àlex de la Iglesia, called ‘Balada Triste the Trompeta’ although eventually this film didn’t win any of the big princes of the night. These awards went to ‘Pa Negre’ for the best film and to Javier Bardem and Nora Navas for the best performers. The show was conducted by the multifaceted Andreu Buenafuente.

Film Review: 13 Rosas

Do you think that killing for only having an other opinion of the life is correct? If you watch this movie you can see only one of many unjustice that life gives us. This film has been one of the few movies that hurt my feelings. I was not expecting one film like it when I switched on the DVD player, it really surprised me.

The plot talks about on the Spanish civil war. It is based in 13 young women who are against Franco, in fact they are republican. They only try to persuade all the people that a dictationship is not the corret way to govern a country. This fils has got a terrifying end because they are all sentenced to death and eventually executed all togheter, although they are innocent.

The movie has got a whole Spanish cast. However it has not got main actors, I could realise about the awesom work of Pilar López de Ayala.

To sum up, I was really astonished about the spectacular content of the film and I would be delighted to watch it lots of times.

Story

It was a cold winter I was on holidays in my house in the countryside. This day was very stormy, the sky was dark and it was snowing a lot. I was alone at home, because my parents were at the village and they were very scared too. Suddenly I heard a noise in the kitchen; it was like someone who was crying. I didn’t know what to do. But although I am not so brave I decided to go downstairs to see what was happening. As there wasn’t light in the house I took a candle. But, unfortunately, while I walking down the light fell to the ground and took off. Everything was going wrong. I started running toward the kitchen and then, I could realise that the noise was the TV that turned on. I sighed happily and I went back to my room very joyfully.

Informative Essay

Smalltooth sawfish is a type of endangered fish. Although, it’s a pacific and docile animal, he is now endangered.

It is an animal who lives in shallow tropical and subtropical coastal parts of the Atlantic Ocean and also the Mediterranean Sea. It is an animal who weighs about 350 kilograms and it is about 5.50 meters long, but despite its length it isn’t dangerous. It eats fishes and seafood and it doesn’t disturb the ecosystem at all.

The reason why it is endangered, is that a lot of people hunt it to make oils for food, flavours and use its head for decoration. And it's also a good price for the sportive fishing.

Eventually, the collage for the help of the endangered animals is working for the specie so that itcan return to live in peace.

Final reflection 2010

I’m Toni Molera Espelt. I’m in 3rd of ESO and I believe that, now, it’s the time to do a reflection of all the year.

During the year I’ve thought that the Comenius is a huge opportunity, because you can travel to a foreign country and learn her own language and all of this for free. However, we’ve been doing a lot of work like songs, oral presentations, recipes. But the hardest project has been the magazine. In the magazine we had to include some surveys, articles, interviews and lots of more things.

About the classes I think that they have been correct. In some of them I’ve had fun, and in a few I’ve been bored, but definitely, from my point of view we’ve learnt a lot.

The oral presentations, in my opinion they’ve been great, because I believe that in the future you must do lots of them in the university and it’s better that you start doing them when you are young.

To sum up, I think that we’ve advantage the year, we’ve had fun and the most important, we’ve learnt English.

Do you remember when you were a child?

Memories, I have a lot of memories, but I can't tell you all. I remember a lof of wonderfull days in my childhood. Even so, I remember the day that they happend.

9-6-201. I was in my first Patum in the square with my dad. It was the first that I lived in emotion. It was special since 2001. Every year, I've lived the Patum with more passion.

23-3-2004. I remember it was a lovely day and I won't forget it. It was my birthday, and my parents made me a surprise party with all my family and friends. I spent a fantastic day with all the people that I've ever love. Everybody gave me some gifts and I still have them.

These facts, will be always in my mind.

Favourite song

My favourite song is "Broken Strings" by James Morrison and Nelly Furtado. This song appeared last summer. Nowadays, it's very popular and it's on the top of the best songs ranking. This song is the best that I have heard by James, however the others are good too.

"Broken Strings" can make me feel special, and no matter the times that I listen to it, because I always feel like listening again. It's a charm song, a nice song, sung by two sweet voices that always have combined wonderfully. I love hearing this song when I'm nervous, because it makes me feel better. The lyrics of this song talk about a couple that are falling in love but they can't be togheter. They speak about their impossible love with some metaphors. The sound of the music, the rhytm and the lyrics all togheter make a great mix. And if you want to watch it, there's a very good videoclip even though, it can be better.

Tu sum up, I advise you to listen to this song and also the videoclip, and I'm sure that it won't disapoint you.

What will be my life like in 20 years?

What will be my life like in 20 years? It's a nice but a very dificult enquire. I'm going to try to explain the thruth however it won't be easy.

I believe that I won't be very tall and I would like to be strong. I will have brown hair and I hope I will be handsome.
In 20 years I will get married with a pretty woman and we will have three children: two twin daughter and old son. We will live in a very big house with a huge garden.

I would like to work as a journalist, but i know that I will work as a lawyer. I don't know why but it's a prediction that always have been in my mind. Sophie, my wife will be a famous actress, and because that I will be rich.

I know a sure thing, I will be happy. It's the most important thing, the happines and the health. Both must get it, and because that, I will practise a lot of sport and I will do all the things that I want to do, like go to the cinema, go out with friends, travel a lot.

It will be my future and I think it will be nice!

Recipe

Pastís de poma/ Tarta de manzana/ Apple pie

COOK TIME: 75 minutes.

LEVEL: medium

INGREDIENTS:

· 2 eggs.

· 200 cl. oil.

· 200 cl. milk.

· 200 g. sugar.

· Some drops of lemon.

· 400 g. flour.

· 2 apples.

· 20 g. aspic.

· 10 g. baking powder.

METHOD:

1. In a mixer, beat the two eggs. Add oil, sugar and milk and mix all together.

2. Meanwhile, in a bowl mix the flour with the instigator and add some drops of lemon. Then pour all, slowly, in the mixer.

3. When all is mix, put the paste in one mold.

4. Peel and cut the apple in plates and then put it above the paste.

5. Put it in the oven and bake it, for an hour, at 190ºC..

6. When the apple above is golden, take it out from the oven, and take away from the mold.

7. Finally paint the apple with the aspic. Now it can be eaten.

Story

It was a dark and stormy night when we met us. I had never spoken with you, but I was wishing that. Only with that night, I had enough to fell in love with you. That night was the best of my life becasue we couldn't do anything , I could only be with you. When i satred at your eyes I had an attraction that i couldn't have imagined before. I felt that you had an special sensation too. i have been speaking with others girls, but no one was like you. It was fantastic. Now i can't stop thinking about you, and you know that you always will be in my heart.

Dear my friends,

How are you? I'm great. My name is Toni Molera Espelt and I'm 14 years old. I live in Berga, a little city on the mountains. It is 100 km far from Barcelona, the capital city of Catalonia. I study 3r of E.S.O in the IES Guillem of Berguedà high school. I live in a big flat in the city center with my parents and my sister.

Every day I go to school at half past eight and I finish it at 2 o'clock, except Thursday. In the afternoon, I only go to school, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday. After that I'm very busy because I do a lot of extra activities, like basketball, music, English. However I have time to do my homework.

What about your hobbies? In my free times I usually play basketball and I play the trumpet too. I study English and, at the weekend, I like going out with my friends and I try to enjoy all the time. Sometimes, I like going to the cinema to see new films. At night, I usually watch the TV with my family. This is my usually daily life.

I would like to join in this activity because I always have been interested in learning English in an other country. Moreover, I am some friendly and I would like to meet people from other countries.
